I know I am not as frugal as most of the folks on the forum. Nevertheless, after investing in a non-matching TSP for over a decade, contributing to my matching TSP the past three years and Roth IRA, I have $400,000 in savings at age 42.

TSP- Civilian: $91,851.46
TSP - Military: $158,846.27
Savings: $51,470
IRA: $96,603.20
Savings 2: $3,430.73

I am single, never been married. I also will receive an O-5 Air Force Reserve pension at 60 years old.:dance::dance::D:D

Very nice.

It's been an interesting last few years, hasn't it?

hitting milestones are so rewarding. You want to shout to the heavens. I love it.

db pension awaiting along with "cash in the bank" - the best of both worlds!
