I still have 100 pages to go, but I highly recommend this book. Fascinating read about a company (Theranos) that offered a unique method to evaluate blood samples. Problem was they couldn't deliver on what they were supposed to do (this is not a spoiler).
Among the peripheral areas covered are Venture Capital investing and corporation executives blinded by what they wanted to see and refusing to see the seemingly-obvious warning signs.
This is nonfiction but reads like a novel and, to me, is riveting.
Also as an aside, supposed financial experts got bamboozled to the tune of huge amounts of money. Something to think about when one considers non-index mutual funds and Financial Advisers.
