Unless Lily Byron is a scammer, I actually feel sorry for her for her financial naivety, and she sounds like someone who is hoping for magic, having long been on hard time. Her scheme is so unrealistic that it is doomed to failure and disappointment. I would be concern and feel badly if she blows her limited resources on a such a scheme, but of course, I cannot tell her not to prove us doubters wrong, but please do not bet your last dime on it.

Personally I think Sarah's is a safer investment.
 
Did a little Google searching. There are quite a lot of people predicting wonderful success trading Forex, but none I can find who are saying they have successfully done it and are now wealthy. Many say they can do 5% or better:

Why would the US government (which, as I understand it, has a bit of a deficit) grant money to inexperienced private investors who want to make a killing on Forex? Hey, if this works, maybe the Feds should try it themselves.

Pay off the deficit? Then the national debt? Then fix Social Security? Then fund all the pension shortfalls? Sounds like you're on to something...:)

Don't need Forex system. We have a new casino in town, and I hear everyone wins huge money.
 
I might invest that extra $10 grand I just have sitting around into powerball tickets--I heard someone got $350 million in just one ticket with his system.

I think everybody here is being unkind to the OP. Not everyone has the same knowledge and skills and wherewithall as most here. I did not read anywhere where Lilly is asking for or wants monetary investments from this community.

In short I think this is a very, very bad idea. Your time would be much better utilized in finding more productive (and realistic) ways of increasing income for your family. Lack of capital is not your problem, a lack of education and understanding about finances is (I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here).
 
I'm late to this thread. Laughed at a few posts and am shaking my head.
To the OP: If this endeavor were at all beneficial don't you think we would all be doing it? It seems common sense isn't so common.

Okay, here is some REAL advice:

1) There are so many folks ALREADY touting "can't miss" Forex trading strategies that your odds of getting a "grant" are nil. The only ones who *might*listen are folks more desperate than yourselves - but odds are they likely have even less money than you do.

2) There are so many Forex SCAMS that your odds of getting a "grant" or "load" are nil. Sadly we have acquaintances who got sucked into one, and they have lost their house and are fighting to keep their marriage together. They have gone from having a chance to retire to having zero chance to retire - all due to impatience and trying to hit investment grand slams when a string of singles would have put them in a better place.

The bottom line is, strangers or organizations with any intelligence are *not* going to give you $10,000 no matter how much you promise. Your *only* hope is to either (a) go to friends or real-life acquaintances who know your family situation and can measure how much you and your husband can be trusted better than anyone via the internet, or (b) take on second jobs and save the proceeds until you have $10,000. After all, if this is "guaranteed" to always get 5% results why not save up for a year or two to get that money? You'll still be getting the returns. Maybe you'll have to delay your retirement goal by a couple of years, but with "guaranteed" returns wouldn't it be worth it for the long run? :)

So why do you think she is here? If it were a requirement of consters that they come on very obviously and heavily from the start all marks would have been burned through years ago, or it would have been built into our DNA to spot this.

Far from being too hostile to these kinds of approaches, IMO this board is way too accepting.

I have to say that Lily can really deal with rejection. How better to turn the tables than that particular verse. Blesses us, sorta kinda.

I wish I had 1/10 of her skill.
