Do your pets sleep outdoors or indoors?

They say that empty nests are reversible these days also;

Arrghh ! Just as my image of you changed from a codger with a cane (remember your post where a woman lectured you about fatty food) to a gentle "geezerette" (spelled out on the shirt in your picture), you have to scare me like that!

OMG! Now, what I hope is my temporary look becomes PERMANENT!

She (see avatar) sleeps inside with DW and I. I wouldn't be able to sleep if she was outside anyway...

Until recently our dog slept indoors. Now we got ourselves a kitten that slept outside,,,,until my wife took pity on her and wants her inside, what with the winter and all....;)
We brought the cat home because my wife :cool:thought -and insisted-it would chase away mice and it wouldn´t be another reponsability-they are such independent creatures.....
It turned out mice are still with us and the kitten barely goes outdoors, much preferring staying inside on our laps, beds, sofas, PC keyboards.....

Mine would sleep outside if I had any. Animals are disgusting in the matter they leave.

Cat is a soft, furry little stove, whose job is to keep my feet warm under the covers. She knows when to get out, too >:D

Neither animals nor children are for the overly fastidious. :)

I would not ever compare any animal to a child. An animal I would make sure they had a proper residence out of the human living area. I wont even get into how some cultures view pets as food. :)

My, my, my. I don't know what to think anymore. What if FB5825 or even T-Al, despite having posted their pictures, are really masquerading as their spouses:confused:
Slight detour...I'm made of 100% woman parts. Just ask dh2b. ;)

It is not uncommon for folks to mix up other member's genders. I know I confuse people when I talk about being an engineer or w*rking on small engine repairs or boat related topics. That's half the fun!

Back on track...
My dogs know who the soft touch is around here (not me).
dh2b tries to play the alpha male, but he spoils my "kids", now our "kids".
The 2 dogs have defected to the person with the most frequent biscuits. Traitors! :(

At first I thought Cuppa Joe was a man just by the name but I quickly caught on that she had to be a woman. Her writing shows a sensitivity and a thoughtfulness that was just a dead give away to me.

I know what you mean, that's a bone of contention with SO who complains Fluffy prefers yours truly. Could be because I'm softer for "making biscuits" upon.;) Naw, couldn't be, it is the other biscuit factor, I feed her.

I was a bit over the edge. It was on my mind because I just caught a nasty cold from my grandnephew who stuck his snot covered fingers into my mouth before I could stop him. :flowers:

If you have to catch a cold, sounds like a great memorable way to get it, you'll laugh about this, a week or so from now. I have no idea how I got mine. Stay home from work, oh never mind.;) Take care, get well.

How wonderful. One time I enjoyed a great puking and a defecation and certain a urination. By my godson who giggled and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. It was glorious  Good thing we have showers.

I dont think I caught anything

However he is not an animal :D

I don't think I was ever so sick in my life as when my son was a tot. Whatever he got, I got worse. He sneezed and coughed in my face and of course there was the diaper changing when he had copious amounts of diarrhea. He tells me he never wants children...too much work and sacrifice I guess. I never get sick from "Lucky" my adorable pug who snuggles up to me every chance he gets. And he is always most appreciate of the least little thing I do for him.

Confirmation mine sleeps indoors. ;)

You say ‘don’t get poetic on me’
But if I didn’t, you could not see
I am an artist and a writer to a degree.
One way or the other, it sets my soul free.

:)
Serves me right:D!! So much for me trying to be a smartass:LOL:!!

Yeah, unfortunately. Coyotes got both the cats. Told the neighbor to keep his cat inside, but he didn't. Got him too. I stayed outside a few nights after with the rifle but was unble to see any coyotes to extract vengence.

Yeah, you are right, children are far more disgusting in their habits and hygiene. Thank god my dogs and cats aren't so gross. Ewww.

And don't get me started on those other cultures where ignorance and cruelty are considered ordinary human traits.

I thought the same thing when I read that statement......would rather the kids stay outside than my pup.
