    Ringing.......Help?

Mine started when I was a little younger, but got worse now that I am older. I notice mine is when my blood pressure is high. And yes, there have been many nights that it is so loud, I have a hard time falling asleep (it takes 10 minutes to fall asleep versus 2!). ~M

    It's Wednesday weigh ins! 2007-2022

I am down 5 lbs this week. I am not telling my initial weight (entirely too much) just yet... but I will when I lose these 30-40 lbs! I need to get healthy for my wedding coming up in just 16 weeks, and to start thinking about having some babies! ~M

    Winter time = Heating Bills.

My bill this past month was $65, which is alot for me. I have a new occupant to the house (my fiance) who will not allow me to put the thermostat below 55. If it were my choice, it would be 50-55, and I'd walk around in sweats and slippers, with throws. But... because I cant, we have a $65...

    I guess I'm not alone

Welcome! So glad you are here! When I tell people that I am going to RE, they laugh at me. People I work with are continually making fun of the way I live and the choices I've made (inexpensive house in the city, inexpensive car, shopping at Save-A-Lot, watching how much I eat out, etc.). It...

    Hi everyone!

KM, Welcome to the board. I know some people are very private, and do not like to post specifics, but if you feel comfortable with posting more information about your situation, I'm sure these very knowledgeable people will be able to give some advice. ~M

    i wouldnt call it laziness...

Welcome to the board! It is nice to see another yung'un on the board. I agree with you about the mortgage payoff. I think that would be the most liberating thing in life..to pay off the mortgage. And THEN be able to retire early. :-) Once again, welcome. ~M

    What Women Want

I am sorry you have to go through this... I must admit, I've been to therapy, and it has been mentioned that I have BPD. What I think it great-is that you've stuck by your wife through this. I know it hasnt been easy - as we are nice to everyone around us, but not to those we love. At my...

    YTD

I have tracked the stock market almost every day in 2005 and 2006, and the last two days of the year on both years has been down. I am trying to see "trends" in the market...but with only 2 years worth of data, it isnt so predictable. ::) ~M

How much did you spend in 2006?

I do not track my expenses, but this is the new year. I am going to start... as of today. I will have to go do research with my Money program on the computer. Thank you, everyone, for the motivation! I'm going to need it throughout the year! ~M

    What Women Want

I am getting married in just 5 months and considering a prenup. I'm sure my fiance will not be so happy about it, but I just saw on the Suze Orman show that if a spouse opens a credit card (even if with their name only), and something happens to them (or does not pay), the other will be...

I hear ya, Dreamer. That's why I try to sign on a few times a day... which makes me feel like an addict! ~M

I hate to say this but most will not save enough.

"This will lead us again to the discussion about the geographical area you live in or plan to live in retirement" I live in the city of Akron, OH. The house was very affordable, and I felt comfortable as a single female living in the area I live in when I purchased the house. It is actually...

I hate to say this but most will not save enough.

I wonder the same thing... Though I am not even close to retirement, I wonder why I have to save millions for retirement (SS will not kick in until 2045) . With my mortgage my expenses a month are around $1200/month. Once there is no more mortgage ($550/month) or car payment ($245/month) the...
