Happy New Year! We hit our personal goal of reaching $3 million NW by the time DH hit 50, which was last month! [emoji322] Our NW is at $3.1 million. DH will keep working to at least 55 to keep padding the nest egg.

NW is at an all-time high of $2.9 million. On target to hit $3 million by the end of the year (fingers crossed) when DH turns 50.

Thanks! DH will probably continue to work past 50 since he enjoys his job (most days anyway). Since we’re now debt free, previous mortgage payments are now being used to top up the nest egg.

Never thought I’d go with yellow but I love it! On a side note, is your username your dog that’s in your avatar? Only reason I ask is because our dog is a Sunny as well and he looks similar!

I think I might give my 6 to my daughter. The trade-in credit was only about $75 for the 6.

I was leaning towards the red but it was pretty dark when I actually saw it in the store. The yellow is great!

I thought I would but not at all! Took me about 5 minutes to get used to it. I love the bigger screen compared to the 6.

Well, I finally opened up the purse strings and bought the new XR (definitely an upgrade from the iPhone 6)! Loving it so far! Bought the yellow colour!

I always use a clear TPU silicone case. It’s clear so the back of the phone and colour is visible and provides enough grip (haven’t dropped an iPhone yet!).

I’m thinking of getting the red one myself. However, I’ve read early reviews saying that the yellow XR looks incredible. I think I’d feel self-conscious with yellow though.

Yup, 4 years old and still looks brand new. I got a new battery 6 months ago and updated it to OS12 which made it faster. I might keep it until Apple no longer supports the 6 with updated software. The new XR sure looks pretty though!

I’m tempted to get the iPhone XR in order to save close to $300 vs. the XS (plus I like the variety of colours). However, the cheap side of me says I don’t need a new phone since my iPhone 6 still works perfectly fine.
