I suspect part-time work in a non-toxic work environment might be a non-financial alternative. Do not let the current employer use benefits as a hammer over you.

I am a retired RN who was also burned out of hospital work . If you do decide to retire keep your license for awhile . You never know what opportunities may pop up .
