Another reason to attend the Beijing Olympics

Besides, he's too busy putting screws into a piece of wood to play with dad right now. I figure another month or two and he'll be taking over all the home maintenance.
Or . . . like our son. . . . use his new-found screwdriver skills to remove every doorknob in the house.
 
Heh, as a younger lad, I took an old [-]record player[/-] phonograph apart, found the amplifier portion of the circuitry, then patched the line level signal into my guitar amp...

Only shocked a couple of times...

Oh yes. A few weeks ago I left a small flathead screwdriver an inch or two short of "out of reach" after replacing all the kitchen outlets and switches, and when I came back in from the garage about 5 minutes later all the outlet covers in the room that he could reach were taken off.

He regularly unscrews the door stoppers from the back of the doors.

He is quite handy for holding the flashlight for me while I do something, although the light rarely stays on what I'm working on...
