Any composers or people with home studios around?

I have a small studio at home for practice and composition. I have been spending more time in it lately. I play guitar, bass, keyboards. These days I'm focused on scoring music for videos that I shoot.

I don't but one of my bandmates has a small studio in his basement. Together we've recorded and mixed dozens of songs, originals and covers. I play all the bass parts and the occasional guitar or keyboard part.

Not a composer but have been using a studio off and on since about 2007 or 2008. Just the computer, something called an "M-Audio Mobile pre-amp audio interface", some mid grade dynamic microphones, and Audacity software. I had no idea of any of this and just got input from others who, at the time, were playing, writing, and recording

I'm looking to put together a home studio hopefully next year, have been researching. You can find a lot of info and opinions/discussion here FWIW: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/
