Being an infrequent flyer, I didn't know Sunday flights were more expensive and just overpaid a whopping $356 for two flights from NYC to Las Vegas.
I just thought rates had gone up in the last 2 years from when we flew last and also because it was a non stop flight. Ironically, we usually always would fly a Saturday to Saturday in the past.
Live and learn. Damn- that would have paid for our rental car.

Keep your chin up. I've had three prostate biopsies so far, and they were all negative. The way I look at it, even though they only remove small samples, it still reduces the size of the thing and that's a plus. Enough biopsies and it will be all gone!
Overkill is not always a plus.
Have not told DW yet but doing some work on a late summer/fall trip to Greece and potentially a side trip to Isreal and Jordan for two weeks.
Brett, my kids and I enjoyed Israel a lot when we were there a couple of years ago. Tel Aviv is a lively city and you can’t beat the history of Jerusalem.
37 years since I was there...loved Jerusalem, enjoyed Akko, Haifa, Masada, Yafo.
Found Tel Aviv, (at that time), to be basically just another city.
As long as we don't get eaten alive by lions (staying in tents..yikes!)..
Looking at a month in Greece ( includes time in Crete and Cyprus) then two weeks in Israel (including a few in Jordan). Early days yet.
As long as we don't get eaten alive by lions (staying in tents..yikes!)..will post a trip report when we get back..
Naaah...don't worry about being eaten alive.......they generally kill you before they start eating.
We are leaving in three weeks for an eight week trip to Europe (Lausanne Switzerland) and staying at our home over there. We got a great deal on Business Class (Upper Class) tickets on Virgin Atlantic last year.
I have had those Virgin Atlantic Business Class tickets in my Google flights que. I really want to try them. Give us a blow by blow after your trip
