DCA is a passive approach to market timing, in a sense. Sticking with a fixed withdrawal should do the exact same thing as investing a fixed amount. You would need to sell less when stocks high, sell more when low.

Cum phase you would waffle in hard times, likewise sell less and tighten up in decum.

Key during both phases is accepting the risk with chosen allocation.
