We just got back from a trip to London and Berlin. We have been to London many times so no surprise there. Berlin was a real treat. Weather was superb-sunny and around 5-10C. Hired a private guide for 3 days and saw everything. The house where they had the conference where the Nazis agreed on their final "solution" for the jews (Potsdam)was particularly chilling. All the cold war stuff was really neat too. Restaurants were fun and comparably priced to North America. The hotel was about 40% of the one in London and the room was twice as big. Would certainly recommend Berlin as a 4/5 day destination.
