We have three days in which to be flexible in Bordeaux ...

We have access to a car in the beginning and were going to drive to Arcachon.

We can keep the car and drive to other wineries the next day, but the following day from that we have friends arriving - was going to do the St Emilion town visit - not sure whether best to just train - or get a tour for our 10 folks. Have heard best to just take train, and hang around there, visiting the tasting rooms and goofing off.

We will have one night doing pintxos tour so have that covered, but would still love advice.

Would appreciate recommendations re how best to spend three "free" days in Bordeaux ... i.e. how much time should we allocate to Bordeaux itself - we're not much into cathedral #432, etc, :)

Thanks!
