Way to go, and I am the general so the lumber yard guy will be my go-to. We don't live nearby, our new home will be 2 hours away so this complicates things a bit. I need to take time to do this, thank you.
One thing that is going for me is no fancy appliances. No drawer dishwashers, built in ovens etc.
We will have a 30" range much like our current double oven LG. Standard 30" dishwasher under the counter. Someone will have something and if it goes out ( they always do!) it is not an issue to replace them.
I will build a custom trimmable refrigerator pocket in the cabinets, like I did last time.
That's a 30" deep cabinet so no special counter depth units. It is vented out the back top of the cabinet and also in the bottom for cooling.
I will build my own cabinets again, and order the doors from a custom shop that I have started working with. My old shop went to contractor-only, and I am not going to license up for this one job.
