Wondering if anyone was able to find a new supplement provider after being declared cancer free.
I have been shopping for a new supplement provider for myself mostly. I am in good health with very few doctor visits. When I asked Atena about my wife who is cancer free for over 10yrs (lymphoma) The represented stated she would not be eligible, which I understand why.
When I was going through the questions for AARP/UHC for myself I noticed the only question that would catch her is:
Whitin the past 5 years were you diagnosed with, treated, given medical advice, or prescribed medication by a medical professional for lymphoma.
She would pass everything but the maybe medical advice because she goes for a yearly checkup but is considered 10yrs cancer free.
It does not surprise me if no provider would accept her but I was wondering if anyone who fits in this category, for a serious ailment, was able to switch provider after 5 to 10 yrs being cured? Thanks
