Yesterday I had my Frontier Internet speed bumped up from 50 mb to 500 mb service. My Frontier setup includes cable TV and digital voice, so I must continue to use the new ARRIS router they installed to accommodate the faster speed. While everything seems to be working fine and I'm getting advertised wifi speeds throughout the house with my Google Nest Mesh plugged into the router, I am unsure about configuring the ARRIS router beyond the out of box settings that the installer did not change? Should I disable the routers wifi since the mesh has that covered? Any other router settings that should be changed so these two work seamlessly and securely in the future. My knowledge of these network settings is very limited and it makes me nervous I will screw something up.
