I voted for "strike while the iron is hot".

And here I always thought that that was the slogan for The United Brotherhood of Laundry Workers.

No one ever lost money taking a profit.

Ride your winners, cut your losses.

It's always the last place you look.
(Errrr, duh. Looking after you've found something would be super dumb.)

Wherever you go, there you are.
(Alrighty then.)

My neighbor likes objects that state things.
She has a plate that states "They broke bread in their homes."
(Where the F else would they break bread?)

A plaque says "Be still and know....."

My favorite is a ceramic jar with the label "Blessings"
I wonder if the ashes of rat ex-boyfriends are in there.

Thanks, everyone, for the votes, responses and suggestions. I have to say that I am surprised that impetuosity won out over thinking it over, among this crowd :). Most of the members are here because they've thought twice about implications, measured their targets numerically, and memorialized them in spreadsheets, lol! But "fortune favors the bold" definitely won out!

Since a third of the USA is staying inside today, I'll put up my second entry in the "Contradictory Proverbs" series.
