I should add that I had two choices for dental insurance throughout my career in Arizona, Delta Dental and another that I cannot remember what it was called but it may have been associated with United Healthcare.
Delta Dental was by far more expensive and widely recognized as having the worst coverage. I have it now because it is my only choice through my employer. But the coverage is terrible. My maximum limit is about $1600/yr. But I pay nothing so I don't complain.
