Energy stocks took quite a beating but I took a chance and invested some in the Vanguard Venax fund a while back. I may be thinking about this wrong but if and when things get straightened out people will be willing to pay whatever it takes to get back to traveling.
Last month looked pretty good.

We have some...and pipelines too.

I bought BP a decade ago, and Shell and XOM within the year, and have lost a few bucks.

I worked as an employee for 2 of the 3 you mentioned, just retiring from one.
I own nothing of any of the majors besides what's contained in indexes and
dumped any company stock RSU as soon as vested for the last 5 years. JMO,
but all of the majors have been infected with bad cases of SJW syndrome and
think they are players in upcoming green energy. They are not and will get
their head handed to them by companies that have the corp. structure/culture
for it and a headstart in development. If I was really speculating, I would say
one of the companies you hold is currently "right sizing" for a takeover/buyout,
which might make the stock a speculative play.

If I wanted to invest in oil, I'd look at the independents. They still are laser
focused on making money from their core business.
