I am a Canadian citizen but worked in the US for a few years, paying into social security, etc. Is there some kind of agreement between the two countries that the earnings I made in the US can count towards my CPP earnings? Otherwise, I think I would have paid into the US system without receiving any benefit from it when I collect CPP.
