Long long ago - in a university district far far away:

Rainier beer and Loganberry wine - LB's for short.

heh heh heh -

Best Overall: Crown Royal with 7up and small shot of real cherry juice

Runner up: Woodford Reserve with 7up

Only for Thanksgiving weekend: Rare Breed (shots) & mix with plenty of football

Summer best: Gin and tonic w/lime

Favorite beers: Yuengling Lager, Michelob light, Sam Adams light

A glass or two of wine per day.

Do have fond memories of Southern Comfort and other serious stuff.

Friday after work in winter in Bettendorf IA: hot coffee with a slug of Southern Comfort or Amaretto.

I like beer, red wine, gin (tom collins), rum, Bailey's and I particularly like Campari. Margaritas are good but give me horrible heartburns.

Tequila Jell-O shots got me in trouble with the Navy. Red Headed Sluts left me with obscene things painted on my face the next morning. A bottle of Yellow Tail left me in an awkward situation one night. Rum & Coke has never steered me wrong though. Good old Bacardi, I'll be celebrating with a bottle once I'm out.

Whoever married this woman is a lucky man. :'( She's just so beautiful. ;)

I thought the one posted here eons ago who crushed beer cans with her superstructure had a certain panache!

heh heh heh - thirty years in New Orleans as a dam Yankee and still alive! Saints won last night. Even KC won also. Still smells like summer - not football. Yet!

What is that line many women say?

Captain Morgan is the only man who has never let me down.

They seem to forget Jose Cuervo...

Haven't had a drink in over 20 years.

I drank a lot of beer in college, never developed a taste for wine or the hard stuff. After college, I was a social beer-only drinker who made the decision to quit after a near-miss DWI incident in my late 20's. I realized it might become a real career problem for me- I was traveling a lot, interacting with customers (especially Asia- now those folks like to drink...) and the easiest way for me to control it was just to stop altogether. It was the right decision at the time, and I am sure it kept me from making some bad choices on the road.

I don't begrudge anyone who drinks responsibly.

Or Jack Daniels. Or J.W. Dant. Or J.T.S. Brown...

HFWR, what's that song by Shelly West from the early 1980's?
Jose Cuervo, you are a friend of mine
I like to drink you with a little salt and lime...
Did I kiss all the cowboys
Did I shoot out the lights
Did I dance on the bar
Did I start any fights

That would be Jose Cuervo:

Now wait a minute, things don't look too familiar
Who is this cowboy who's sleeping beside me?
He's awful cute, but how'd I get his shirt on?

I had too much tequila last night...

ohhh.....just a beer once in a while. Usually Heineken.

I've never cared much for the hard stuff. Does anyone know if Canadian Club Highland Mist is supposed to be any good? I was given 3 bottles years ago and never opened them. The seals on them say bottled in 1971.
