How much company stock is too much?

I'm up to about 20% of net worth and I'm getting uncomfortable.
I'd be uncomfortable too.

My former company stocks are about 9% of my net worth (12.5% of my investable worth) and I'm starting to get uncomfortable.

I've got another year until Medicare at which time I'll likely target some of these assets for selling.

I would be more comfortable in the 5-10% range.

When I worked for Megacorp, matching funds in the 401k were in (publicly-traded) company stock, with a small premium if the employee contributions were used to buy company stock. However, there was no limit on selling said stock. I would buy it then sell it (with a small trading fee) every month or so.

My philosophy was that I already had all my salary "eggs" in that basket, and I had no desire to put my retirement fund "eggs" in that same basket.
