If you had a gun, chances are you may have gotten more time than he.. Unless I was on the jury. But I agree you, as everyone, should be prepared to defend and protect yourselves. If its a firearm, PRACTICE with it. Learn some defensive tactics. We all have our CCP, and about always have one nearby, but have other items in our bag of tricks... LOL Wife and Daughter both work juvenile justice and trained in takedown and restraint... get and learn to use a small keychain baton on pressure points...
