Are you seriously monitoring daily/weekly changes in prices of individual stocks? I'm not knocking it but that would only make sense if you're a trader.

Yes, I am a trader! Retired professionally 30+ years ago, but can´t get it out of my blood. I do not follow JPM, just posting for the benefit of the OP who was looking for a LT entry price.

The retirement plan for one member of this forum was to have a portfolio of conservative bank stocks. He had to go back to work after 2007 when his bank stocks were crushed.

I remember him - was a coin collector as well AIR. Admired the way he took having his retirement getting destroyed by BofA. Do you recall his name?

BofA fall from grace was pretty brutal - and they never quite recovered. Unlike JPM. Interesting.

Banks as a sector are a little scary right now. The fincen story may have some legs.

Many bank stocks seem to be down around 20% from fairly recent highs.
