*I’ll be hiring someone for installation*

Already bought the new sink Swanstone KSDB-3322 33” x 22”

Now I’m researching faucets. I was thinking of going with this one, which has a seperate side sprayer…………..
https://www.menards.com/main/kitche...2-c-8509.htm?tid=-5158079527017403668&ipos=40

Then I saw this one with a ‘Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Reflex®’………..
https://www.menards.com/main/kitche...3-c-8509.htm?tid=-5158079527017403668&ipos=38

I’ve always done dishes by hand if that makes a difference.

That is a nice sink, in the days when you had one for soak and one for rinse. I am certainly not taking issue with your choice. We opted for one large sink. It is a blessing to put large pots and pans in the sink to clean them.
We also went with a Kohler one knob high curved faucet similar to this one: K-596.
You can google it

We have this one and love it. Careful clicking on the link, it’s a bit pricey.

One thing we really like. If you get the integrated sprayer, get one with a magnet. The other mechanical ways to hold up the sprayer seem to fail and look like crap. Just look at the store for the ones that aren’t fully retracted and seated.

As for the touch system, very nice in a kitchen. Hands have chicken on them, hit the faucet with your wrist and the water is on.

Absolutely! YMMV LOL
But the Kohler faucet is still a good idea
I believe it. I searched it & found that it has a Magnetic Docking System, which Jerry1 said is critical if you go that route.
Thx

That's exactly the type of info I was hoping for.
Thanks!

I like the choice of the pull-down faucet in the OP. General opinions:
1) Pull down is more convenient than the faucets with the faucet/wand that plug down into a stub.
2) Pull-down faucet/sprayers are more convenient and clutter up the splashboard less than a separate sprayer.
3) I favor Moen because they are well made, the replacement parts are available, and they are generally free (due to lifetime warranty). Delta is also good. I've heard good things about Kohler, but haven't used them.
I would steer clear of no-name brands unless I knew for sure that the parts from a well-known brand would also work. Then, I'd leave a note to myself under the sink: "Cartridges are the same as Delta 454545" etc.

Nice sink! We bought a double sink with a divider that was only halfway up and it is so useless as everything on both sides gets splashed because of the low divider, but it’s still divided so cookie sheets, casserole dishes, puppies, babies, etc., don’t fit well. Either the one you got or a full sink are better choices. So don’t change your choice!

Your faucet selections are also nice. We got this faucet with the sprayer built in (https://www.amazon.com/Talis-Highar...hen+faucet&dpPl=1&dpID=31q020J+moL&ref=plSrch) and are also disappointed. It automatically returns to the center (over the stupid half divider) instead of staying where we pulled it, plus once we hit the spray button, it won’t go back to non-spray mode until you turn the water off and turn it on again. Unfortunately it’s hard to test a working faucet before you commit but I hate it too . So don’t get this either.

Just a question.... the sink shown has only one hole.... you cannot have a separate sprayer unless you drill one...

I do not like the separate spray head and we got one like Jerry showed except we did not buy the automatic option... saved some money...

Yes, it should have a magnet... but I was surprised that when installed it did not automatically go back up... there were times you had to push it back... so, before the plumber left I had him take the weight off the old faucet and add it to the line... with two weights it now will retract on its own... and they are not too heavy where it is pulling out of your hand...

For me, I had a RO system and had them drill a hole near the right edge and have a faucet for that..

Pull-down sprayer is definitely the way to go. I chose a double (stainless) sink when we remodeled but if I was doing it now I'd probably go with a large single to fit large skillets, etc., better for washing.

I guess I'm old school and still prefer to have a two-bowl sink instead of a larger single bowl. In my hand wash days I could have soapy water in one side, then rinse dishes on the other side. Even today I can have a dirty dish or pot on one side, and still be able to wash a vegetable or something on the other side. Two bowls just give you more options.

I've never owned a pull-down sprayer, but I still think I prefer the separate side sprayer. I've tried the pull down's in the stores and didn't care for the look or the way they work. Again, it's probably just my old habits.

I generally prefer Moen faucets, but when we built our house in 2004 we wanted a black kitchen faucet. The only one we could find was a Delta model. I've had to make a couple minor repairs over the years, but overall we've been happy with it (some of our Moens have needed repairs also).

We remodeled my in-laws kitchen several years later and bought a similar Delta faucet except in white. Unfortunately, while ours has a nice braided stainless hose for the handheld sprayer, the newer sprayer on my in-laws faucet just has a plastic hose. It's stiffer and not as flexible, didn't care for that.

We are also double bowl sink people...

We have large bowls on each side.. 17 x 16 with 10 inch depth... zero radius... this makes the bowl REALLY big...

DW can put a large pot in one side and still do stuff on the other...

I wanted an under mount but could not find one in the size we needed... heck, I could only find a couple of sinks this size...

We have Blanco Pull Down faucets that we've used the heck out of over a 10 year period. It's a good looking faucet, and for the most part is good quality, but there are a couple of issues so that I wouldn't recommend them.

The pull down part isn't magnetic, and now doesn't go quite all the way back up. It doesn't look bad, but it's a negative. Find one that's magnetic.

We switch between flow and spray constantly, and the rubber cover for the buttons are starting to tear. I went online and you can't just replace the rubber cover, you have to replace the entire head. So make sure whatever material they use to switch from flow to spray will take a beating.

I'd prefer to change to another brand, but we have a double sink plus a separate smaller sink that all have the same faucet, so we need to keep a consistent look. It's too expensive to replace them all, so I'll just have to replace the head on the main one.

Just a couple things to keep in mind as you make your choice.

Just installed a new Delta kitchen faucet this past weekend, it has a pull down sprayer with a magnetic hold. I have very deep double sinks and it was a pain getting the old faucet nut loosened, very little space to get a tool back there. Nice thing with the new Delta faucet is they provided a tool with the faucet to tighten the bolt, made it very easy work. Works well so far.

Appreciate all the replies!
The project has been pushed back a week or 2, but I'll post again when finished.

I am a big fan of Danze as a brand.

We have this one in our modern/contemporary kitchen.

......... Was more expensive then I cared for but has proven so useful.............
I've found good deals on eBay once you have a model number of what you want. Seems to be a huge markup on faucets.

That's what I did when I picked up a new Delta kitchen faucet a couple weeks ago, about 1/3 less than Amazon and HD and no sales tax.

It's finished. Decided to go with the Moen pulldown model. This one isn’t magnetic, but uses a weight to pull it back in place. Works great. I was skeptical about the soap dispenser @ 1st, but I have to admit, it's very convenient. I’ve never had a faucet like this, & everytime I walk into the kitchen & see it, I think of the ‘war of the worlds’ creature (see inset pic) Weird huh :)

We had our granite countertop put in yesterday. Before we left Florida we bought a faucet similar to the one in the post above (I don't have the details in front of me) and it came with a soap dispenser... I had planned to tell them not to install the soap dispenser and totally forgot about it until our contractor called to see whether I wanted the soap dispenser to the left and the disposal air-switch to the right or vice versa... at that point both holes had been drilled, so I guess that we will have a soap dispenser.

I took your advice and installed this faucet. Bad move. The feature I wanted doesn't function, the Docknetic magnetic. Also the Pause button on the spray head is non-functional. I'll try and return it to the supply store tomorrow. I think American Standard has a similar faucet that I might try. No more Kohler for me.
