Maybe I'm reading this story wrong. But it seems to say that Mom won $15.5 million in 1991 and daughter still has student loans. Did Mom spend most of the $15.5 million on lottery tickets ? Or does she really, really not believe in making things "too easy" for her kids ?

Back in 1991, Amy decided not to take her megajackpot win in a lump sum and instead opted to take it in yearly installments, receiving $738,000 before taxes annually for 20 years.

Still ...

The reasons probably have nothing to do with money.

Or maybe she's part of the "pay off the student loans or invest the money" debate?

I'm thinking it was mom that won the first lottery, not the daughter, so don't see the problem, lol?

Mom and daughter sound like they're on good terms with each other, luckily....
