I probably will skip this movie since it is too depressing to realize the debt level of this country.

Well I figure its either right or wrong.

If its wrong, you got screwed out of $12.

If its right, we're all going to get screwed out of everything.

So my strategy is to wait until it comes out on netflix VOD and watch it for free. Then I've limited my downside risk and didnt spend too much money on a movie. Smart financial maneuver.

$12? Mmm I usually pay between $6-8. Of course there's the gas money if it's not local.
But will probably show up on surf the channel.

Watched this trailer for a movie coming out in August. Looks interesting. Will probably go see it.

It does look interesting, but I'll wait for the DVD to circulate through my library system. From watching the clip, it seems like another version of "In Debt We Trust", which I've mentioned before on this forum.

A Google search for "national debt GDP" suggests we have been in much worse shape in previous times, as a percentage of GDP. The big problem now, I think, is that we are sinking into a morass of entitlement programs that seem to have no limit. The war on terror ain't helping the finances, either.
