Semi retired - have modest 2.35% mortgage, about 12 years left. We could pay it off but no plans to.

SO and I just pooled our funds and bought(built) a new house in Eastern Tennessee. We both sold our Illinois houses and re-invested the money in our new Tennessee home. We are just 1 month into living here and are very happy with the move at this time. I do have 2 non-housing loans, both at 0% interest. I can make 5% on cash so it was a no brainer to borrow at 0%.

Planning to retire in 6-8 years. Refinanced my mortgage in 2021 to 30 yerars @ 2.25%. Have no plans to pay off early.
