If this is short I would hate to read long... I did not read all of this...
But, when I first signed up I did not even put in my income as I did not want to deal with it... got all my subsidy as a tax refund... two years..
Now I keep my income below the 200% so I get help on copays and deductible... but they also try and throw my DD into medicare or CHIPS... well, Texas did not expand medicare... the package they sent me was HUGE and I did not want to deal with it...
As to income, just go into the program yourself and change you income... at least with the national one you can do it as often as you want... I changed mine 5 times in a few hours...
