I'm so shocked that he was that old! I mean, I just watched Departure (a TV show) which was released in 2019, and I just assumed he was much younger!

He was one of those great and recognizable actors who was never really a "movie star." His credits go well back into the 50s and continue nearly to his death. What a c*reer - not a poster boy for ER, but admirable, all the same. YMMV
