Rule 15c2-11 Enforcement Delayed

For those who invest in OTC issues.... The SEC exempted enforcement of 15c2-11 for bonds and other fixed income securities until January 3, 2022:

In response to requests from industry representatives that have indicated through telephonic meetings with Commission staff that they may be unable to complete, by the compliance date of September 28, 2021, the operational and systems changes necessary to comply with the amendments to Rule l 5c2 -11 (the " Amended Rule") under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ("Exchange Act") for fixed income securities,1 the staff will not recommend enforcement action to the Securities and Exchange Commission ("Commission") under the Amended Rule until January 3, 2022 for quotations published by broker-dealers for fixed income securities to allow for an orderly and good faith transition into compliance with the Amended Rule.
