Ryobi now has a jump starter kit that uses their 18v drill type batteries.
Best of both worlds -- battery and capacitors. I uses the battery to in about 60 seconds charge up capacitors for the jump. Pretty cool.
Price is too hefty and a little large though in comparison to the lithium ion types.
Still, I'm happy to see as years ago wished one of those drill battery lines created a car jumper that used the easy to recharge batteries.
I already have one of those lithium types that also work as a power bank. But if the Ryobi went down to a more reasonable price.
