SnapChat Stock Analysis (what do you think?)

Hello All,
I am new to this forum. I read some of the posts here and liked everything.
I am very new to stock investing and have been thinking about buying Snapchat stocks. Initially, it started with 40% increase from IPO but now it is down. To analyze, I like the app and almost everyone of my friend uses it and like it. I feel like it needs a little marketing and it will be another facebook in technology. I believe it has a bright future but wanted to know what your opinions are?

Welcome. As to your question, the biggest thing I would like you to consider is this:
There is a huge difference between a good product, a good company, and a good stock. It seems as if you're focusing on the product, which is a fine place to start, but if you're investing you want to concentrate more on the other two. Have you started any research there?

Many/most participants on this forum will recommend stock market index funds or ETF's, not individual stocks, including me.
