I have to say that there is not much info for teachers that have 457b or 403b's. Of the info I have gathered I have found out that most of the companies we can choose from are both expensive and not very efficient since they are mostly insurance companies primarily.

I did find a book I ordered that was written by a teacher. It is called Teach and Retire Rich (.com)

Has any one read this or have any info?

I feel it may help me in my particular situation being that I am a teacher

Haven't read the book, but in general you want to pick an investment company instead of an insurance company for your 403b if possible. I know it's harder now with some of the newer rules. e.g. my brother could no longer use Vanguard for his 403b because the school wouldn't fill out Vanguard's form and instead wanted Vanguard to fill out a form for them...

Try 403bwise.com to see if it has anything helpful.
