Vanguard short term tips - vtipx

Does anyone own Vanguard VTIPX (Short TERM Tips) and if you do, do you also own Vanguard VIPSX ( Long TERM Tips) ?

I had all my tips in VIPSX in a Roth. So then the panic came and VIPSX had to be moved to equities before all was lost and my pigtails went limp from lack of inflation. I now have 50% VIPSX and 50% VTIPX in the account. Of course, TIP bond funds are a tiny part of my holdings. Had their near term performance been critical, I would have considered all alternatives.

Thanks for bringing up this fund. I was unaware of this purchase fee elimination. I was holding back because of this but may look @ it again as a place to move my current TIPS fund. Been looking @ VTAPX.

Vanguard is eliminating the 0.25% purchase fee for Investor, Admiral, and Institutional Shares of Vanguard Short-Term Inflation-Protected Securities Index Fund.
