I presume the numbers are going to be higher than "normal" because its your primary source of energy. But I don't think the computerized results take into account being in healthy ketosis.

Went to a new doc just before the lockdown (mine retired) & explained that I do a Keto diet, and got a complete set of bloodwork.

His gopher called & said "your lipids are high, we want to give you a statin."
At the very least he should have followed up with the more sophisticated sorts of lipid test for particle size first.

Definitely get the particle size test. I would not go on statins

There is some wiggle room in word combos like "healthy ketosis".

It is rough out there.

Since this was at least 14 months ago, you should start with a new test, and a new conversation with your doc (or a new one) and then go from there.

When we were on ketosis(still are but no recent testing), our LDL went down, our HDL went up and our trigs went down pretty dramatically.
