Confused about dryer sheets

I have a new grandbaby in Panama and I am wondering if I can qualify for a Pensionada visa with a trust fund as my annual fixed income--this is a trust in which the principal can not be invaded until after my death so other than fluctuations in the market it is a guaranteed source of income.
