Anyone one with separate trusts?

My wife and I created our trusts back in 2016. At that time, we were advised to create separate trusts. We then split our assets and put about half of our financial assets in each trust. We didn’t do anything with our house. We have since moved to another state and now want to put our house into one of our trusts. The question is how to do this. The attorney that set up the original trusts (previous state) suggested that we put the house in my wife’s trust since statistically she will likely outlive me. The attorney in the state where we moved expressed some concern over this approach and suggested putting 50% of the house in each of our trusts. The local attorney’s concern is that if I do outlive my wife that it may be difficult for me to sell the house. I’m not sure why there would be a problem since we are trustees of each other’s trust. Anyone have this issue?
