Bacon Poll - How Do You Like Your Bacon Cooked?

Don't like bacon anymore. Funny, I did before I started posting here.

I like bacon and don’t use a fork

I like bacon with maple syrup
I even like bacon flavoring a turnip

I’ve never had bacon cooked by air fryer
But just the thought of it sends me higher

Plus one on I like it crispy but not too crispy.
We use a glass plate and a silicone vented cover thing and cook it in microwave. This is only good for about 4 slices or so. It is easy to get it just right and not messy like cooking on stovetop. Baking in the oven works good too, if you want to cook more at one time.

After looking at youtube, I tried again making pork bacon with my air fryer. Ignoring the preset but used manual settings of 350 F and 9 minutes.

Turned out pretty good. Think I'm going do this instead of stovetop .

I spent almost 25 years married to a woman who would not eat mammals. I respect her choices for herself and she did not impose them on me. But cooking different meals for two never made sense. I am now rediscovering bacon! And I get to do it at 58 after decades of low fat diet so even my guilt level is low! I'm gonna try that big bacon fry and freeze!
