"The Complete Idiot's Guide to ER" was published by CFP Dee Lee in 2001. It's the usual CI easy-reading pablum and way below the level of this crowd. If I'd read it back then I wouldn't have been moved with anything like the same power of Dominguez, Terhorst, or Stanley's "The Millionaire Next Door", all of which had been around for years before Lee's version. The "Guide" is more like a gentle knock at your door than a blare of trumpets with a blinding flash of epiphany.
Five years ago is ancient history in ER studies. Read Bob Clyatt's book instead.
If you're confronting nuisances who won't leave you alone about ER but who also won't read Bernstein or use FIRECalc, then give them this book.
The title also makes it a great gag for office parties.
