I file a small monthly report.......create it as .rtf file using the text editor on MacBook and then save as .pdf using the file/print/pdf technique on the MacBook that someone taught me here (too lazy to look up who owns that credit right now). That worked well for many months.
Last month a different master .rtf file was sent to me which I used with no problems last month. This month, after I saved the file as .pdf, I found when I tried to read it, it looked like nonsense. After repeated attempts I gave up and sent the monthly report via e-mail w/ the .rtf file instead and then on a whim, attached the .pdf file just for fun. Surprise.....after I sent the e-mail and looked at the .pdf attachment, I could read it perfectly. I double-checked the original .pdf file on the Mac and it is still nonsense. What is happening here?
