The father of a guy on my team at w*rk passed away over the weekend. I offered to make some meals for his family. In the past when I have cooked for families it has always been some kind of dinner food, but I was wondering if people ever do breakfast food for families in this situation? Along with the usual lasagna or chili I was thinking of making a giant batch of pancakes that I will freeze and bring those also with a bottle of maple syrup so they pop them in the microwave and have breakfast for a couple of days as well. Has anyone else done that, or is offering to make breakfast weird.
