Trying to keep the cord cut....

Around 2 months ago, I literally cut my landline...that’s a whole nother story. Thought my cell service (connected via WiFi would be adequate). Come to find sometimes it’s OK other times poor. Also tried a cell signal booster with no luck.

I have HughesNet for ISP and am looking into their VoIP. Anyone here speak to the quality of the service?
