I know there are people who know about the web... I have a question...

I think this has been happening for a few days.... but I noticed it a lot more today...

When I am looking at articles on Yahoo I usually hit the back button to get back to my home page... that seemed to stop working... but today I clicked on the list of pages and noticed a page with a /platform.twitter.com/widget.... something... sometimes there are 5 of these between the page I am viewing and my home page... so I have to hit the back button 5 times to get back...

Also, these do not show up as a page.... they are just 'there'....

SOOO, what is going on and how can I stop this!!!

Something is definitely up.
With their mail as well. I've lost the ability to delete (icons are missing) and to select (check box) groups of mail.
Only on yahoo and only with some browsers. (firefox, and IE.)
If I use chrome, it works fine.
My other email accounts behave normally.
This has been going on for 2 days.

I use Yahoo all the time, and haven't noticed anything odd.
Safari on Mac

At home using Firefox and I do not see the problem...

At the office, we have to use IE as we are a Microsoft office... a silver/gold/diamond (whatever it is) member...

No such problems for me lately. But I have been receiving a lot of spams for some time (like a year or more) - these spams are like trying to sell sex enhancers and I get more than 50 emails a day. They go direct to the spam folder but I have to delete them everytime before they go away. I notice I started getting such emails after joining Groupon. If anyone can help me stop receiving such spams, it would be great.

the ads are updating and you don't notice it. Every time an ad updates, it's a 'new' page as far as your BACK button/arrow is concerned. Some sites I can take 5 minutes to read a thread, then try to back up and realize dozens of 'pages' back is where I wanted.

Yes, this seems to be the problem.... but it did not happen before.... and did not happen with Firefox last night...

So far today, I do not see it happening in IE... let's hope it is fixed....

Slate has an article out today recommending you disable Java. There is a new threat out. Of course they say it is nearly impossible to do that in IE. :( My normal browser is Firefox but I have to run the HGTV site in internet explorer so I'm out of there til Java updates.

I hate being gven a list of tweets. Most make no sense if you are not following the whole conversation.
