Dan I totally agree.  I'm all for womans rights but darn it I just don't like woman as sports announcers.  I could care less if they were cheerleaders...actually I feel there should be cheerleaders of both sexes.

That could be interesting...I'm thinking about kilts again.

Perchance to dream...
Maybe someday Baseball will have cheerleaders to keep us involved during the slow parts of the game. Maybe someday...
About time for HA to post that I'm not being productive enough in my ER. :D

About time the great State of Texas got into the World Series. What a job pitching by Roy Oswalt. With Clemens, Petitte, and Oswalt, it's going to be hard to beat the Astros. Anyway, I'm rooting for them.

Yeah, you look at those cheerleader pictures, which by the way are just plain old Texas girls (not hand picked or anything), you look at the Cowboys, Astros, 2 college teams in the top 10, world champion Spurs, and on and on- - - and it just makes you wonder--how and why do all these other folks live someplace other than Texas??  :-\

No no no! Those girls were imported from LA. The native Texas girls were
mostly killed off by ranch work in the heat and rattlesnakes. JPatrick, you are
not helping keep potential "immigrants" properly informed about the
terrible hardships in The Lone Star State :)

That ReWahoo is such a Neanderthal.
Jar - I like that word - Neanderthal. It really needs to be used more on the forum. Although, I should make it clear that I don't think Rewahoo is one, I don't think he is from a period that far back. ;)

By the way, when I said the Cubs & Sox are on my 2006 wishlist...well I forget to say that of course I want the Twins first and foremost to beat the Cubs in the series, if not the Twins then really it must be the White Sox, if not Whities than it should be the Red Sox losing to the Cubs, sorry Boston! :D

Incredible! Dramatic! Unbelieveable!

Hey man, you are OK by me. If there is anything the ER market needs it's more porn. Hell, we hang around the house all day, we need a little stimulation.

So thanks, brother.

Hey guys, this game 2 isn't exactly chopped liver. Go Sox!

BTW, can you figure out a way to label those babes so we can vote for our faves?

Your picture is certainly a better end than having a guy named Pose-dink hit a HR to win the game.  But then, that could never happen  :-\

God in His infinite mercy has looked down upon us, seen our longing and suffering, and sent His gifts to give us succor.

Thanks be to the All Powerful One for the beauty He has created in our world.

I guess I am alone in thinking baseball is the world's second most tedious spectator sport.

I'd rather sit and watch paint dry. To each his own.

Judging from the other images in this thread, it just depends upon what it's been painted.

I haven't been to a football game in at least 13 years. I can't imagine spending two or three hours on the scene of a sporting contest anymore, not even if it's surfing. And never in front of the TV.

Spectating usually doesn't much do it for me anymore.

There's more intensity in Post season of baseball and basketball.

I watch with the game on mute, while I surf, listen to my wife's ideas for the trip to Italy, practice my Italian, read Fortune, New Yorker and the Monitor, pet the dog, eat dinner, drink hot chocolate, eat grapes and cheese, nap, do yoga, meditate, go to bathroom, work on the grouting while there. I've never tried watching paint dry, but to each his own I say. :D

Re: World Series - Contains Callipygian Content

Whithout a doubt, the most entertaining World Series I've seen in a very long time. (Who"da thunk it?).

Imagine there's a few folks in Houston that are going to be late to work this a.m. (hell, it was late West Coast time).

Odds on Red Sox, and White Sox, ending their century long draught on back to back years, off the chart! (Chicago hasn't won yet, but like their chances.)

Ozzie and his boys, so far, have made the Central Div. proud. (Long time reputation for being the weakest div. in Major League ball).

DanTiem: Word from reliable source is that Lohse is history with the Twins. Good move on both their parts. Twins have above average pitching, but they need to score runs.

Anyway, it's been a great series so far, and who knows, (ask the Yankees), it's not over yet.
