Are there any tax consequences to 529 asset mix change?

If I change the asset allocation in a 529 plan (for instance from one which is very stock-heavy to one that's more balanced) are there any tax consequences? All funds will remain in the plan.

No - as long as the funds are used for qualified educational expenses when they come out.
