how is ROI of dividend ETF calculated

doing some dividend investment research, looking at this chart and was wondering, for the VIG and SCHD, is it assumed that the dividends were reinvested? i guess what im trying understand is that if I hold SCHD in my retirement years and I spend the dividends given out each quarter, will I still be getting the ROI depicted in the chart.

I would say yes, that all three ETFs on that chart have their dividends reinvested.
