We received a "Privacy and Data Security Notice" from Chartis U.S but the return address on the envlope was from NUFIC, Program Administrative Office in Jacksonville, FL.
There is a NYC address on the back of the notice to obtain information about their information but one must include a policy number. The problem is, to the best of our knowledge, we have no policy with them or any of the affiliates listed on the notice.
For the life of me I cannot figure out how they got our name. The only possibility is that the co-op unit that we recently purchased carries insurance and as a stockholder we may be named on the policy. The credit unions to which we belong offer AD&D insurance (which we declined). Any other thoughts gals & guys?
