Question about internal Roth conversions

As I understand it, one can make Roth conversions inside a 401K, plan permitting. Does anyone know if the same can be said of 457k plans? I've been trying to search the plan documents, but can't find this information, and I'm not normally at home when the plan office is open to ask directly. I'm also not certain the phone reps would know the answer anyway.

According to https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/rollover_chart.pdf (and assuming you mean 457b) the answer is "yes". And "plan permitting" still applies.

Thanks SevenUp! That linked chart is very helpful! I'll continue to pursue my plan's resources to see if it allows this conversion...and yes I did mean 457b.
