SS online calculator

So I look at the SS online calculator sometimes just to see if anything has changed after just a few years of ER. I still have 20 yrs before I will draw ss. The online calculator still says I will get a certain amount even with "0" for the next 20 yrs.

Has anyone verified this calculator is correct through actual experience, ( checking the amount, retiring early and later actually getting that stated amount)?

I used the inputs for my giant planning spreadsheet to explore different claiming strategies... Then DH started collecting. He ended up getting a bit more than the calculator had predicted the previous year... around $50/month more.

Since the detailed calculator doesn't work on the current macos, I just used entered our earnings data into a spreadsheet and calculated the benefit according to the ss formula.
